ABOUT SUSAN // creative director/writer
As a Creative Director and Writer at some of the top agencies in the country, Susan Corbo has worked with everyone from Abraham Lincoln impersonators to Kermit the Frog and basketball legend LeBron James. She’s had an amazing time creating award winning campaigns for brands around the globe.
Susan helped launch the New Beetle Convertible for Volkswagen, generated one of Targets most viewed Pinterest campaigns, re-launched Husky tools socially, digitally, and with a nation wide tour, and authored an edgy book for Blue Q.
Throughout her career, she’s created break through campaigns in new and emerging markets on an international playing field. Including brands like JW Marriott Luxury Hotels, Samsung, Axe, Sprite North America, Target, LG, Virgin Mobile, Swiss Army, The World Gold Council, Burger King, LL Bean, Baileys, sittercity.com, Ally Bank, and CurrentC to name a few.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Marketing, Susan went on to pursue her advertising dreams by attending the Portfolio Center and graduating from The Creative Circus in Atlanta, Georgia. Working at top creative shops in Boston and New York City such as Mullen, Arnold Worldwide, BBH New York and Mother New York, Susan has spent her career working with talented people she loves and admires. She’s happily served on the Advisory Board for The Creative Circus and judged numerous national and international advertising award shows.
Susan has been honored by the One Show, Cannes International Film Festival, The Art Directors Club, NY’s Andy Awards, The Obies, Archive, Communication Arts, and the Hatch Awards Show, as well as being listed as “Top 30 under 30” by Creativity.
In her spare time, Susan is an avid sticker collector, enjoys cooking, loves smashing a forehand on the tennis court and often daydreams she is a puppeteer. She lives in New York with her husband Bruno, their daughter Francesca, their 28 year old turtle Bubba, multiple fish and a kitten named Luna.
